c.1960s Wild West Galloping Horse & Cowboy Wind-Up Toys – CT Hong Kong (Set of 2)

A matched set of two 1960s Wild West–themed galloping horse and cowboy wind-up toys, made in Hong Kong by CT, complete in original packaging and in excellent condition.
This set comprises two brightly coloured Wild West horse-and-cowboy wind-up toys, each featuring a dynamic galloping pose activated by a mechanical wind-up mechanism. Measuring approximately 150mm long x 60 mm wide x 270 mm high, the figures are moulded in light weight plastic with painted detailing typical of mid-20th-century novelty toys produced for export markets.
Both pieces are marked “Made in Hong Kong”. with the CT logo and model number No. 222C, a mark associated with Hong Kong–based contract toy manufacturers active during the 1950s–1960s. During this period, Hong Kong became a major centre for the production of affordable mechanical and wind-up toys, often inspired by Western themes popular in film and television.
The set remains in its original packet and is described as being in excellent condition, with strong colour retention and intact mechanisms.
