Tucked away in Leschenault, near Australind and Bunbury in Western Australia, My Doll Cottage Museum is home to a fascinating collection of dolls, toys and childhood treasures from generations past.
Unlike larger museums with regular opening hours and reception staff, My Doll Cottage Museum is privately operated and located on private property. We love welcoming visitors and sharing the history behind our collection, but there are a few things we ask you to keep in mind when planning your visit.

Like many small organisations, we receive a considerable number of unsolicited telephone calls. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult to distinguish genuine museum enquiries from unwanted calls, particularly when the number is unfamiliar.
For this reason, we kindly request that all initial enquiries be made by text message. If you would prefer to speak with Sharon over the telephone, simply mention this in your text message and request a return call.
This small step helps us manage enquiries more efficiently while ensuring genuine visitors can get in touch.

Whether you are a life long doll collector, interested in the history of toys, or simply curious to see playthings enjoyed by earlier generations, there is plenty to discover at our museum.
For some visitors, the collection brings back memories of childhood favourites. For others, it is an opportunity to discover toys they have never seen before and learn about how childhood, manufacturing and everyday life have changed over the years.
Behind many of the items are stories of the people who made them, owned them and treasured them. We enjoy sharing these stories and hearing the memories that our collection brings back for visitors.
My Doll Cottage Museum may be a little different from a traditional museum, but that is part of its charm. We appreciate visitors taking the time to arrange their appointments in advance and respecting that the museum is situated on private property.
If you are planning a visit to the Bunbury or Australind area, or you live locally andhave been meaning to come and have a look, we would love to welcome you.
Just a reminder entry is by gold coin donation per person, and all visits are by confirmed appointment only.
